Welcome to my second Year of Good Deeds, a challenge I set myself during April 2013. I decided to do at least one Good Deed a day for a whole year, now I am into my second year.
This week I’ve been doing the following;
February 8th – Today I’m reading an ARC of Operation Unit by Phil Syron-Jones, a second book in his John Steel action thriller series. If you like a James Bond style storyline then check out his first book Rise Of A Phoenix. Sorting out pictures for this weeks book review tweets. Also drafting up some of my posts for this years April A-Z Challenge.
February 9th – My morning helping out at school, and then picked up a bag of potatoes at the local farm for my friend and dropped them off.
February 10th – Delivered a box of donations for the charity shop which have been sat by my door for too long.
February 11th – Invited a friend around for coffee, had a lovely chat and sent her away with a book. Good deeds received, was gifted a lovely cake.
February 12th – Met a friend in town and passed on a book. Good deeds received had my hot chocolate bought for me – delicious!
February 13th – Finished reading The Orchid Tree by Siobhan Daiko a book set in Hong Kong during an after the occupation by the Japanese during WWII.
February 14th – Lots of romance and Valentine books to tweet about today. Also getting lots of books in for the review team. Today I’m reading Witch Crystal by Malika Gandhi
See, no good deed goes by unrewarded. You’ve had a good week

Good deeds pay off. Giving away books I find the most exciting deed of all. Sharing a story always warms my heart. Another busy week. Oh my. Have a wonderful new one, Rosie. ❤

Each time I read your Good deeds list, it is a useful nudge. I cannot live up to your levels, but I remember to do something kind more often than I might otherwise.

Thanks Hilary, I don’t set myself a bar to reach I just try to do things that are within my reach, sharing books is easy for me and there is always litter to pick up where ever you go. Volunteering at school is a bigger commitment, but seeing how a child’s reading grows in a year is a wonderful thing. So glad I can inspire others with Good Deeds.
