She chose “Jaded” by Kristy Feltenberger Gillespie
Here is Krystol’s review.
“Jaded” by Kristy Feltenberger – Gillespie is a story about a girl who lives in Nirvana. She must decide her life paths and has trouble doing so due to a member of her family passing away. Having some-one’s diary that could change not only thought processes but life’s path, Jade must decide where to go with it as she reaches a fork in the road.
I give this book 3.5 out of 5 stars. The author was able to write a unique story which is admirable. However, I had a hard time diving right into the book. It took a great deal before it started to pick up. I love the concept of the book, but I feel the characters and plot could have been developed a little more. This was a fair book to read. I do recommend it to teens because of the message it portrays.
