The Black Swan Inheritance – Marigold Deidre Dicer

A chance night out clubbing in an effort to break from her boring self-imposed prison of normal sees Anita diving head first into an unknown, strangely familiar world of werewolves, vampires and witches.  Emerging as the chosen new Black Swan, Anita tries to balance new powers, family, magic and her heart in a whirlwind adventure filled with lust, power, betrayal and friendship, with two worlds about to go to war in an age old struggle for survival.  Guided by the Black Swan Book of magic she ventures further and further into her inheritance, coming to terms with her need for explosive sex, sex that fuels and builds her power.

Setting of on a trip of survival with Christopher the vampire and Scott the werewolf Anita comes face to face with her raw power, strong sex appeal and the dangerous world of the “un” dead.  Strangely drawn to guilt-driven Christopher Anita starts exploring and stretching her truths on love, life and religion.

This journey finds Anita fumbling through lust, power, heartache and the demands and responsibilities of being the Black Swan.

Filled with steamy hot sex scenes, chilling cold blooded vampires and the raw male power of the werewolves, this is one hot, scary ride.

The eternal battle between good and evil….but which is witch then?

Romancing September #RomancingSeptember – Day 7

Welcome to Day 7 of Romancing September Across The World Tour. Today our guest is V. Steele. Catch up with more from Victoria in a few hours with the second part of our tour when Stephanie chats to her.

Beckoning Front Cover

1)Where is your home town?

I live in a small town in central Georgia (USA)

2)      How long have you been writing romance?

I’ve been writing romance for many years. I first published a book in 2013 and haven’t looked back since.

3)      What is your favourite sub-genre of romance?

I love Paranormal romance. I guess it’s the unknown element of the Paranormal world that draws me in. I enjoy the shiver down my spine as human and paranormal elements meet.

4)      Tell us who Roan is.

Roan is a character that came to me one stormy night as I sat working on another book. He’s a strong willed, powerful old vampire with royal status. But he has a flaw, loneliness. He’s been searching for his true soul mate and when he first sees Natalie he’s drawn to her as no other. He wants to keep her for himself, but he’s hesitant to turn her. But to keep her, he must make that decision.

5)      Please introduce us to Natalie.

Natalie is a modern, single woman that works in an office as a secretary.  She wants to find the right man and quit searching. She sees Roan in the bar one night while out with friends. She’s drawn to him. Her dreams are filled with visions of this dark haired Adonis.

6)      Will we need a cold shower after reading this?

It’s a possibility. This book is a short novella that’s steamy, but not too over the top.

7)      Where and when does your book take place?

It takes place in a suburb outside of Atlanta in current time.

8)      Is this part of a series?

This is one of 5 books in the As My Heart Beats Series. The whole series is short Novellas that take you one more step in the relationship. Each is more powerful than the next.

9)      Tell us what you are working on at the moment.

I’m in the process of finishing the My Prodigy Trilogy with the last instalment – Nadia’s Revenge. This one has caused me many sleepless nights. It’s also a paranormal romance with a little suspense added in and maybe a little spine tingling horror.

Intuition and Psychic Ability by Jennifer O’Neill

intuition and psychic ability by Jennifer O’Neill

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This was a free download in a subject that interests me. I’d would love to be able to say I had psychic powers, the closest I get is a bit of intuition. However it’s nice to be able to read up on ways that this can even be honed. I really enjoyed the chapters on Empaths and how children can be affected. Also the energy vampire chapters were really useful. I learnt that you can’t force people to change their ways, they must want to change themselves. Some very useful points to note when dealing with family members that I wish I could help, but who definitely drain my energy with little progress. I will definitely read more by this author.
