What are you grateful for?

There’s not enough gratitude in the world today. Think about your day today, how many times have you been thankful? And how many times have you had a moan?

Are you happiest when you’re thanking someone for something? Or when you are being negative and complaining?

I challenge you to make a list of 10 things which you can be thankful for right now, this minute. Think about each item and be grateful for it in your life. Now how does that make you feel?

Here is my list:

  1. My warm safe home
  2. Food on my plate
  3. Fresh clean water
  4. My family
  5. My friends
  6. My word press and twitter followers
  7. Buyers and readers of my book
  8. Those who’ve given their time to write reviews
  9. Everyone who helped edit and publish my book
  10. My good health and happiness

Time to count your Blessings

The sun is shining where I live and the snow which was forecast overnight has not appeared in my garden. So I thought it was about time to count my blessings and encourage a few of my readers to think about their own lives.

Do you have a house you can call home? Then be thankful.

Do you have food to eat? Be thankful.

Have you got a family or friends? Bless them.

Are you  in good health? Thank your body for keeping you alive.

Do you have money to buy things? Give thanks for that money.

And finally, what has been your best thing about today? Remember it, and give one last vote of thanks.
