Forever My Lady by Jeff Rivera

This book begins with the ending of the story and then from the second chapter you get told the lead up to the ending. Dio has been sent to a camp after his involvement in a shootout where his girlfriend got shot. The camp aims to change these youngsters and give them the skills to change their lives when they go back in to society. Dio is Mexican and much of the dialogue has Spanish in it for authenticity, but I only know a few words in Spanish and for me it disrupted the flow of the story. The story is full of believable real life situations and is quite sad.
