No Sales, No Jobs

Read an interesting obituary about the life of Winston Fletcher. Once a leader in the advertising industry he believed in “No sales, no jobs, more sales, more jobs” Very true and a very basic summary which is very topical in todays recession. Many of us are trying to think laterally to come up with new sales schemes and new ideas.

Mr Fletcher was part of the advertising world and sought to bring the ethics of the industry in to a better light. He was also a supporter of the Barnardo’s and British Autistic charities. Later he became involved with theatre as a West End “Angel”, a juror for the “Olivier Awards” and he was a patron of the Garsington Opera.
