A Gentleman’s Folly by Daisy Banks

This review is based on an ARC given to me by the author. A Gentleman’s Folly is set around the late 18th Century and is a romance which plunges the reader straight in to a ritual dalliance. The story then moves on to follow the life of Katherine as she believes she makes the best choices for herself under the circumstances. The characters were well written and the unfolding story was a pleasure to read. Written in a fresh modern style the historical romance came to life with several twists and turns. Charles was a genuine delight to read about as he matured in to his role and lost most of his youthful high spirits. I enjoyed reading about the masked ball near the end of the book, with some fun guests.
