Legends Of Windemere: Beginning Of A Hero by Charles E Yallowitz

Legends Of Windemere: Beginning Of A HeroLegends Of Windemere: Beginning Of A Hero by Charles E. Yallowitz

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Windemere; every time I read this word I thought of the Lake District in the UK. (I Know the spelling differs!)The book evolves to be full of legends, magic, heros, demons and destiny. Images of Middle Earth came to mind and a Hobbit or two would have fitted easily in to this cleverly woven tale full of imaginative description. It easily stands alone as a well written novel of magical adventure. I really enjoyed reading this book.

Most Mums will recognise the maternal instinct to protect their young no matter what. Fighting for justice and what’s right for their children, their families and their community, three Mums plan to take their radical ideas all the way to the top. Up there with free public toilets and Government funded children’s hospices, they are also proposing replacing the House of Lords with Mumsnet, skipping to be prescribed by the NHS, free hospital parking and colour coding road signs so that women stop getting lost! The Lollipop Party are driven by their love for their families as they take on the might of the British Government in the general election. You’ll laugh and I expect you’ll cry, this book NEEDS to be read. Check out #Mummyfesto and see the ideas rolling forward.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I read about this book a while a go, then entered a competition to try to win a copy, finally I got my book! It is a true inspiration, written with humour and honesty. It is not pious or in your face, it’s about everyday human life. The day I started reading it I began writing down any good deeds I had done that day, it’s not easy it often requires effort, but at other times you can surprise yourself with the ease of doing something good for others. Having now finished, I intend to hunt out a jam jar and start filling it, either with a coin a day or what I can afford. I urge you to read this book and improve your life and the life of others. A Brilliant book Judith!

It is not until a tragic accident happens that things start to turn around for Sara. Could she finally have true love with the cowboy in her dreams or will her blindness cause her to throw it all away.

Moonbeam & Roses – I put a lot of heart into this book. The first part of the book came from some elements of my past. The main two characters have a problem realizing love and often work hard to get past it. Sometimes the best in us comes out when we are at our lowest. The love between these two characters is time tested and goes to the moon and back.

A Good Romance & Adventure Read, October 7, 2012

Jeannie Walker “Award-Winning Author Jeannie Walker”

This review is from: Moonbeam & Roses (Kindle Edition)

As I was the owner of a horse ranch where we owned, trained and raced quarter horses – I loved the fact that this story takes place in Montana and revolves around my favorite animals – horses and cowboys on a large ranch.
In this tale, Sara is the main character. She is a beautiful young woman with blonde hair that seemed to shine at night as if moonbeams were dancing through her hair. Her life is turned around and upside down by a tragic accident. Can she find and keep the true love she is longing for?
You will have to read this romance adventure to find out.

Ghost Lover – This was the first book that I published. It took six months to write from start to finish and I enjoyed every moment of it. This book goes through several emotional changes. One minute you’re seeing first love and then you’re angry with her over possessive father and his business partner. But as the story unfolds you get involved with the main characters and you start rooting for them. When this book was finished I was emotionally exhausted, but happy with the results.

Healing Spirits by Sally Morgan

Healing SpiritsHealing Spirits by Sally Morgan

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Sally Morgan and mediums are not everyone’s cup of tea, but I’ve been to see this lady’s show twice now and I’ve read her previous book, “My Psychic Life”. She brings so much emotion and comfort to people and it’s all delivered in such a kind and loving way. After seeing Sally my friend got closure for a very sad loss of her brother, I’m not afraid to say I’m a believer!
