Good Deeds Challenge Year 2, Week 21

Welcome to my second Year of Good Deeds, a challenge I set myself during April 2013. I decided to do at least one Good Deed a day for a whole year, now I an into my second year.

New Good DeedsDuring my week I’ll also being updating you on My Kindness Challenge which I’m also doing. I read about a new challenge to make the world a better place to live in. “Speak Kind Words, Receive Kind Echoes” see the inspiration on  The Kindness blog . During my learning process I’m donating money to charity for my slip-ups to make me work harder to achieve results. I earn no money from any of my book reviews, so having little to spare should focus my mind.

Beckoning Front Cover

1)Where is your home town?

I live in a small town in central Georgia (USA)

2)      How long have you been writing romance?

I’ve been writing romance for many years. I first published a book in 2013 and haven’t looked back since.

3)      What is your favourite sub-genre of romance?

I love Paranormal romance. I guess it’s the unknown element of the Paranormal world that draws me in. I enjoy the shiver down my spine as human and paranormal elements meet.

4)      Tell us who Roan is.

Roan is a character that came to me one stormy night as I sat working on another book. He’s a strong willed, powerful old vampire with royal status. But he has a flaw, loneliness. He’s been searching for his true soul mate and when he first sees Natalie he’s drawn to her as no other. He wants to keep her for himself, but he’s hesitant to turn her. But to keep her, he must make that decision.

5)      Please introduce us to Natalie.

Natalie is a modern, single woman that works in an office as a secretary.  She wants to find the right man and quit searching. She sees Roan in the bar one night while out with friends. She’s drawn to him. Her dreams are filled with visions of this dark haired Adonis.

6)      Will we need a cold shower after reading this?

It’s a possibility. This book is a short novella that’s steamy, but not too over the top.

7)      Where and when does your book take place?

It takes place in a suburb outside of Atlanta in current time.

8)      Is this part of a series?

This is one of 5 books in the As My Heart Beats Series. The whole series is short Novellas that take you one more step in the relationship. Each is more powerful than the next.

9)      Tell us what you are working on at the moment.

I’m in the process of finishing the My Prodigy Trilogy with the last instalment – Nadia’s Revenge. This one has caused me many sleepless nights. It’s also a paranormal romance with a little suspense added in and maybe a little spine tingling horror.

10)   Where can readers find out more about you?
