Bound By Honor is a New Adult Romance and book #1 of the Born In Blood Mafia Chronicles. It is set in America. It opens with a wedding scene and then drops back to how the story got this far and moves on with the future.
Aria is the daughter of the chief adviser to the head of the Midwest branch of the Mafia, she is promised in marriage at the tender age of thirteen to Luca Vitiello the son of the New York mafia. They will marry when Aria is eighteen, the marriage will be a duty of honor and a peace bond between the various factions. They need to lay down their feuds to compete with the Russian mob (The Bratva) and the Taiwanese Triad.
Aria knows this is a marriage trap and one she cannot avoid, yet she is terrified of Luca and his ruthless killing ways. Protected at all times by armed guards Aria has never even kissed a boy before her wedding day. Thoughts of her wedding night and what is expected of her torment her. But Aria discovers a softer side of Luca when they are alone and one she hopes will turn her fears to love.
Dealing with first love and those first sexual encounters for teenagers, with hopes and dreams, this book is ideal for the new adult market. There promises more encounters for characters the readers have met in the following books in the series.
