Welcome to Day 6 of Romancing September Across The World Tour. Today our guest is Jill Steeples. Catch up with more from Jill in a few hours with the second part of our tour when Stephanie chats to her.
Where is your home town?
I live in the small market town of Leighton Buzzard in Bedfordshire, UK.
How long have you been writing romance?
I’ve been writing for about fourteen years now, and concentrating on romance novels in the last six or seven.
What is your favourite sub-genre of romance?
I love something light-hearted so it would have to be contemporary romantic comedy.
What is the cause of your book’s Title?
All my books have links to popular song titles and ‘Let’s Call the Whole Thing Off’ perfectly sums up the dilemma my heroine Anna faces in this story.
When was the wedding due?
In less than a week’s time!
How does Anna read Sophie’s diary?
Sophie is Anna’s best friend and flatmate. Anna wants her earrings, the ones she lent to Sophie and wanders into her friend’s bedroom hoping to find them. On the bedside cabinet is a diary which surprises Anna. She didn’t even know Sophie kept a diary. Temptation gets the better of Anna and she can’t resist taking a sneaky peek!
Have you ever been tempted to read someone else’s diary?
Who me? No, never! That would be a terrible thing to do. Although in Sophie’s shoes I’m not sure what I would have done…
Should we all take our posh wedding clothes back to the shops? Or may there be a chance of a wedding?
Oh well, I couldn’t possibly say. You will have to read the story to see if the wedding goes ahead 😉
Tell us what you are working on at the moment.
I’m working on a Christmas novel. It involves lots of mince pies, mistletoe and deep, deep snow!

I never had the occasion of being tempted to read someones diary, since I don’t know or am I aware of anyone having a diary in my acquaintance. And I really do hope that if I am put to the test I will pass it with flying colors, and my curiosity won’t get the best of me. But I wonder why Anna did? Was there just a tad bit difference in Sophie’s behavior that pushed her resolve to go ahead a pick up her diary? I am looking froward to reading it to find the answers and to see how it turns out in the end!!!

Jill, first of all, what a cute puppy! Second, your cover is adorable 🙂 And finally, I like the idea of using songs for books’ titles.
