The Spanner: A Novella by P.A. Fenton
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
This was a very cleverly written humourous book. The plot became complex but absurd and I did wonder why I was reading it at times. Stan is the ultimate spanner in the works and the character names do make you laugh. Chaos increases as more people get involved in a project that the reader it still left questioning when it all ends with one big final explosion. Where’s Stan now?
Hi Rosie, thanks so much for the review. I did read another review on Amazon, and combined with yours is made me wonder: did you miss the ending? I foolishly used an image to finish the story off, but I suspect it isn’t rendering in all cases.
So, I’ve written the ending in words. Yes, words! In a book! If you’d like to read how the story is supposed to finish, you can refresh your copy via Amazon. This sometimes happens automatically, but I found I had to delete it from the “Manage my Kindle” view, then re-download it.
Thanks again, and apologies for the confusion.
